"Hello, I am the owner of Resilient Mind Behavioral Health and a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a master’s degree from Fairfield University. My passion lies in inspiring meaningful change in the lives of my patients. I established Resilient Mind Behavioral Health to provide a space where patients are genuinely seen and heard—not treated as just a number. My mission is to deliver reliable, long-term care while fostering authentic connections that empower individuals to overcome challenges and achieve their mental health and personal goals.
My nursing journey began at Gateway Community College, where I earned my associate degree, followed by a bachelor’s degree from Western Connecticut State University. With over a decade of experience in the nursing profession, I am deeply committed to providing compassionate and transformative care.
Originally from North Carolina, I have called Connecticut home since the age of eight. My own life experiences—navigating transitions, addressing career burnout, and overcoming life’s challenges—have shaped my dedication to helping others. Outside of work, I cherish time with family and friends and find renewal in the beauty of nature. At Resilient Mind Behavioral Health, it is my honor to support patients in discovering their resilience, creating balance, and fostering growth on their journeys to well-being."
"Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can."
