Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at info@resilientmindbehavioralhealth.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Private-pay care allows me to focus entirely on you not insurance requirements. Without the limitations of insurance, appointments can be more personalized, treatment decisions are based on your needs, and your privacy is better protected.

My practice is intentionally designed as a private-pay practice, allowing me to focus on individualized care and treatment tailored to your unique needs. If you have out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners and Psychiatrists share many similarities in their roles, including the ability to assess, diagnose, and treat mental health conditions through medication and psychotherapy. Both are highly trained professionals dedicated to providing quality mental health care. However, Nurse Practitioners are specifically trained in a holistic nursing model, which emphasizes caring for the whole person rather than focusing solely on their symptoms. I also collaborate with a psychiatrist when necessary to ensure the best possible outcomes for my patients.

I believe that exceptional care begins with the right connection. During this complimentary 15-minute consultation, we'll discuss what you're looking for, answer your questions, and determine whether my practice is the best fit for your goals and expectations.

Established clients are welcome to reach out through the secure patient portal for non-urgent matters. I strive to respond within 1–2 business days. If additional clinical consultation is needed outside of a scheduled appointment, that time may be billed accordingly.
